Autograph letters signed from Alfred Tennyson, Freshwater and London, to various recipients [manuscript], 1864-1878.

(1) Dated Ap. 16, 1864 and addressed to Mrs. Flower. Thanks Mrs. Flower and her husband for their hospitable invitation to the Tercentenary at Stratford. On letterhead from Harringford, Freshwater, Isle of Wight. (2) Dated Ap. 7, 78 and addressed "My dear Sir." Thanks him for the "honour you do me in drinking my health at your Stratford celebrations." On letterhead from 14 Eaton Square, S.W. "Sir Wm. Flower" penciled-in next to the address in another hand.
